A charming, calm place to stay with lots to see in the wider area (visited Versailles et Giverny et more calm, lovely places such as Gerberoy et Villarceaux Domain). Beautifully renovated house and rooms, very clean. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Good breakfast with bread, croissants, yogurt and fruit. We had the Courchevel room in the additional building with independent entrance. Our pretty attic style room was up a staircase, with a stylish little bathroom (good shower) behind a separating wall in the room itself and the toilet separately on the landing (the landing offering space for shoes, jackets and luggage). As the weather was wet and cold, it was nice that the radiator in the room was so effective that just switching it on briefly warmed and dried the room efficiently. The mattress was very comfortable and it was great that the warm duvet was not in a full duvet cover but just on top of a sheet so that both sleepers can easily choose individually to sleep either under the duvet or just the sheet.

The bed is rather narrow for a couple and the mattress protection material isn't very nice, the sheet doesn't stay well in place. There are no restaurants within a walking distance.

Lovely village house, neat and welcoming.
