Albergue Alda Pilgrim Ponferrada

Comodidad y servicios, no parece un albergue!

Mecanismo de apertura de puertas y taquillas, es demasiado ruidoso si llegas tarde a la habitación y hay gente durmiendo

We arrived in Ponferrada at 22:45 and were worried if we can check in, as we were sent an email requiring us to pay in advance, however the email had no links. Luckily, they have 24/7 support and a lady answered the phone and we checked in very easily in person and paid in person with no issue. Afterwards we had a code to open the door and our lockers, but we forgot it a couple of times and the lady on the phone helped us out again with no issue. I had lower expectations, as this was my first Albergue visit ever.

The only issue we had (but apparently it was something we just did not know was a thing) was that we did not have covers on the beds. Apparently that is common in Albergues, but we did not know, did not have additional sheets or blankets and because it was quite late when we checked in we did not bother to ask somebody if we can have some. Hence, as our bunk bed was next to the window and the temperature hit 12 degrees Celsius, it was quite cold :D. But that did not stop us and the place is overall great.

Posizione ok, tutto moderno

Non è un ostello solo per pellegrini, in camera da 6 solo io e un altro pellegrino. La cucina condivisa è abberrante, di una sporcizia assoluta e senza nemmeno la presenza di sapone per i piatti. I servizi igienici puzzavano. Ho trovato altri ostelli più economici ma molto piu curati.
