Location was excellent situated in the old town. We had a roof top garden which gave us great views of the harbour.The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Couldn't eat it all. All in all a great holiday.
Maybe put some legs on the table instead of it hanging from the ceiling. Sometimes when it started moving I thought I had vertigo!

The location in old town Chania was excellent. Very quiet street which was key since our room was on the street. Close to great restaurants and the harbor but out of the fray. The breakfast was excellent.
The room needed some tlc I loved the quirkiness of the room, but the lighting was not good ( I had to wear my headlamp to read). The faucet was leaky and dripped if you did not really tighten it down. The shelves in the bathroom were uneven and unusable. The bed was not great either

The property had so much character and the two ladies who prepare your breakfast and clean the rooms are absolutely lovely!
The breakfast is superb and should not be missed!! Every morning you get like 7 dishes of various things and a cup of coffee/tea AND freshly squeezed orange juice.
There is also a backstreet that is like 30m and takes you directly to the harbour which was super convenient!
The bathroom was pretty small and cramped. There is an option to use the bathtub but we preferred a shower instead - it was too small for my partner to bend over in.
The bed was also average, wasn’t firm or springy and the pillows felt a little flat for our liking.
There is a spiral stairs which is pretty narrow to get up, and would’ve been hell to take our luggage up had the young receptionist not offered his assistance!

Nice location
Two flights of spiral steps to get to the room and another spiral staircase to the bedroom. The first day there were lots of mosquitoes. I went to the staff and they were helpful in proving a mosquito repellent and the last night there were ants that were just climbing up the wall.
