It was okay but I wouldn’t return

The location was the biggest positive for us. It was very close to Graceland, which was really convenient and perfect for what we needed. The property was clean and a decent size with plenty of space overall. Parking was also good and check-in was easy.

Although the house was clean, it felt quite dated and more basic than we expected from the photos. It could do with some modernising and better lighting as it felt quite gloomy. The bathroom was small for six people and the pillows were very flat. We also personally felt a little uneasy in the area, although we had no actual problems during our stay. Communication was slightly confusing as we received a WhatsApp message after being told they didn’t communicate through WhatsApp. The TV remote also occasionally stopped working, meaning we had to unplug the TV. Overall, I wouldn’t discourage others from staying, but personally we wouldn’t return as it wasn’t quite the standard we usually choose.

In need of maintenance but overall wonderful trip

The location of this property was fantastic and was definitely the highlight of our stay. The house itself has so much potential, and you can tell it could be an amazing rental with a little more attention to maintenance. Unfortunately, the property didn’t feel as well cared for as we expected. There were several maintenance issues throughout the home, including missing light switch covers, a hole in one of the deck boards, and an exterior fence that was falling down. The yard also needed attention, with the lawn overgrown and trees and shrubs in need of trimming. Inside, there were quite a few unfinished or “fixer-upper” type repairs that took away from the overall experience. None of these issues ruined our trip, but they did make the home feel less maintained than the listing suggested. With some basic repairs and routine upkeep, this property could easily live up to its potential because the location really is hard to beat.
