Scary but clean. For the price you get a whole apartment that smells like smoke.

He told me where the keys were too late- if I hadn't had wifi I wouldn´t have had the access number to get the key.

The broken locks on the front doors, the shoes, brushes, and dirty towel in the bathroom. It felt like I was living is someone's home who just moved out for my stay. There was drops of blood on the sheet, I was nervous because it's dark, I am alone, so I put the sofa in front of the door. I feared being robbed the first night. Across the street are shady looking characters at the restobar. Women would not like this place. The description said indoor pool and city views. Nope. He denied having written that on his profile.

Good place for the price.

The apartment has everything you need for a quick stay. It has a coffee maker, washing machine, shower, etc. The location is not super central but it’s not too far from center of Pau.

The building itself is very old and not very inviting (though I suppose that’s not the hosts fault!). The area as well feels a little sketchy. There isn’t air conditioning or perhaps it just wasn’t working. Also the shower does not drain fast so the water fills up quickly and will overflow if you dont end your shower soon.
