Amazing!! 10/10

Absolutely beautiful property! Accommodated the 7 of us perfectly. The host had thought of everything and we had everything we could have needed and more to feel right at home.

We very much enjoyed the spacious house, the location for stargazing, and the way the house was provisioned with coffee and tea, spices, towels, blankets for snuggling on the couch. We enjoyed the gas fireplaces. It was great for a fall retreat. We had a few concerns. One is that the hottub was set at 89 degrees - far too cool to use it and we were unable to figure out how to raise the temp. A second is that there is a small step up between two rooms that we kept tripping on. Eventually one of us tripped and injured herself fairly seriously. The step should be highlighted in some way or even be corrected with a small ramp. Finally, we could have done without all the Jesus and God signs everywhere. We don't all share that as something we are looking for on a trip.

My main takeaway from this house was that it’s worn down and needs some updates. Our largest complaint was that the queen and double mattresses are springy and need replaced. They made for miserable nights. The living room furniture is also busted and doesn’t recline without a lot of effort. The fridge leaks and the oven is a mess. All of the railings are loose. It appeared to be a beautiful property with a lot of space. It could be that again if the owners would invest some time and money to fix it back up.
