The only things I liked about this hotel were its location, as it was very close to the hospital I was visiting, and the two staff members who were exceptionally kind and helpful: Aidan at reception and the young man in the restaurant. They were both wonderful and genuinely tried to help whenever possible.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with almost everything else. We had arranged an early check-in, a late check-out, and a one-way airport shuttle, and there were problems with all three arrangements. We arrived at around 11:00 a.m. for our agreed early check-in, but initially we were told that we could not check in. When we asked about the late check-out, we were told that we would have to pay an additional fee for it. In the end, the airport shuttle that had been arranged for us was not provided either. A huge thank you to Aidan, who eventually stepped in and helped resolve these issues. Without her assistance, I honestly don’t know how we would have managed. The breakfast was simply awful — the food was not tasty, there was very little choice, and when we came around 10:00 a.m., there was practically no food left. There was also an unpleasant smell in the room, and the overall condition of both the room and the hotel was far from satisfactory. The service at reception was generally poor, with Aidan being the only exception. I also did not feel comfortable with the overall atmosphere or the type of guests staying at the hotel.
