We had a wonderful stay. Wendy and Alan were friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed, right down to a rental car when we had trouble getting one. Wendy took us into Auckland to make sure everything went smoothly for us. Our VRBO was outstanding and lovely. Their place was absolutely beautiful. If we ever go back we will definitely book there for another stay. We loved the swimming pool as well, so relaxing.

Best place to stay to start a journey into New Zealand. Wendy is super warm and open, super helpful and has great communication. The place will make you feel like you are at home. Very comfortable.

We have traveled the world and stayed at many accommodations and this really is the best we have experienced.

Wendy and Allen are great hosts. I had numerous wonderful conversations. Besides the stunning view, the sheep are a plus.
The accommodations were perfect, and if I had been near a good trout stream, I would have been happy to stay longer.
A definite gem.
