Sanctuary Mandela

I loved everything about this hotel. After speaking with Tamsyn for several months, she (and the rest of the staff!) made sure my visit was exactly how I wanted. The food was spectacular. Hats off to the chef. My massage was wonderful, as was the tour of the house. Highly recommend for a perfect experience. Thank you to everyone!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. This place is pure perfection, with a sprinkle of customisation that makes each individual guest feel special. Kagiso was our waiter for lunch and supper and very attentive. We will be back again!!!

Every aspect of our stay was intentionally welcoming. From the welcome beverages to the bedside treat, we felt cared for every moment of our stay. The tour of the sanctuary allowed us to have an inside look into the life of Nelson Mandela. Each person at the sanctuary told us more about the beautiful history of his time there. We highly recommend a stay at the sanctuary to all who visit Johannesburg. The meals were exceptional and designed with a global perspective. Each dish has its own story. There is amazing variety.

this was a Wonderful stay I did not realise the historical significance of the place till the next day of my stay. The place is small but really nice and the staff are HAPPY and helpful
