The staff is a 10. Location is great for those taking several trains during the stay. Bed and shower are fantastic.
Since it is located in the Train station area, the area becomes unsafe (or at least it feels unsafe) after 9pm.

Close to the main railway station and bus lines in Firenze.
A bit away from the main tourist attractions, 10 to 20 minutes walk.

Really wonderful and friendly hosts who gave us great recommendations for our stay. Good location as it is next to SM Novella station and about 10-15 min walk to the centre of the historic centre. Place was comfortable and clean.

The location is very good if travelling by train. The staff are welcoming and most helpful. The rooms are adequate but the decor dated. It was just about ok, but no more than that. The breakfasts were good.
The steep stone staircase to the second floor is not to attempted by anyone with mobility issues and the ancient, rickety, tiny lift is not for the faint-hearted.
