Reviewer Comments:
The condo was very clean! The living room chairs were good and comfortable. The master room bed is lumpy but I have had worse. There were plenty of dishes and utensils and that was nice. I would stay here again!

Islander 5006 is amazingly beautiful. We have stay at Islander in the past but this is our first time in 5006. They had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable and even the pull out couch had a nice mattress for our grandkids to sleep on. Working with Brooks and Shorey Resorts was a nice experience, anytime I called and spoke with someone they were very professional and nice. We even got our text that we could enter the condo an hour early. When we return to Fort Walton we will definitely be staying at Islander 5006 ♥️

For the price paid, we were expecting more. It had the necessities but considering the premium price, more was expected. Beds were ok but not extra comfortable. Pillows were awful - big blocks of hard foam, and the "starter kit" was a joke. A few packs of salt and pepper, and one each dishwashing and clothes washing machine packages of powder. Then we were supposed to start the dishwasher when we left. I wonder how many people start it without dish detergent! There was a stack of DVDs and a bunch of books that we didn't look at. If the cost was half what we paid, it would be a good deal even if we had to supply our own salt and pepper, which we did, but why be so skimpy on necessities like dish detergent?
