The apartment is very well located, a 5 minute walk to the train station and a short walk to the historical center as well. It is decorated with taste (I loved the bright colours on the walls and the pendant light) and very clean. The bedroom is cosy and the bed comfortable, the electric blinds are very convenient. The bathroom is modern and clean. You can find everything you need for your stay: enough kitchen utensils to cook (along with oil, salt and pepper, with is convenient to have when you’re travelling), a kettle, a coffee machine, a microwave, a fridge, a washing machine.

The windows are quite soundproof, so you can sleep well (I wear ear plugs as well) even though the apartment is next to a roundabout and the train station. However the walls are quite thin, and I could hear my neighbour loudly playing online games late at night. I knocked on the wall and he stopped. I didn’t really open the windows nor the blinds, as the view was on a busy roundabout, but I didn’t really mind, as I was out most of the day to discover the beautiful city that is Angoulême.
