This cave house was absolutely perfect. Everything was decorated beautifully and wonderfully clean. The host was incredibly responsive and attentive throughout my stay, nothing was ever too much trouble. The location is perfect, about a 10 minute walk from the main bus terminal so ideal for getting around to pretty much any corner of the island. I’m a solo traveller and I felt very safe walking back late at night!

One thing to note is that you have to walk up some quite steep stairs to get to and from the property, which wasn’t an issue for me personally but if you are less mobile then it’s worth taking into consideration!

We had a great stay. The apartment was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. It had a well-equipped kitchen, air conditioning, and a TV, making it perfect for our stay. Everything was as described, and we would definitely recommend it to other guests.

The only downside was the location. The apartment is reached by a very steep staircase, which made carrying luggage up and down quite difficult. It was also not easy to find at first. Additionally, it’s about a 10–15 minute walk from Fira’s main shopping and restaurant area, so keep that in mind if you plan to walk frequently.
