Hotel 191 - Moab

Location was awsome and it worked.

Clean and the bed is perfectly made, the sheets tacked good. Unfortunately no breakfast included which I regret.

I had plenty of room inside and I had the corner 1st floor unit where I parked right in front of my front door. It was nice.

The footsteps around 10pm on my second night only which was Friday.

So. This property is very inexpensive, especially compared to others in Moab, and really was the only "not gruesomely expensive" option on this busy weekend. The room itself was clearly recently remodeled - this is obviously an OLD motel which has been, at least our room, remodeled. Nothing done to the exterior, which is sort of sad looking. Pretty basic and odd remodel, but very clean (the toilet passed the "swab under the rim" cleanliness test which a much more expensive property failed) . Good water pressure in shower and lots of hot water. Comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly staff, although never interacted face-to-face with staff. Texts and emails only.

It appears that there are actual tenants in parts of the property. Sort of an "odd" vibe. Not a problem, just strange. Not much parking - we had a trailer and only because my husband is a great driver was he able to get the trailer backed in there. Not really walkable to the main downtown, unless one really wants to hike. Terribly weak WIFI signal. My laptop would not stay connected. Staff did offer to move our room to one closer to the router, but that was not convenient after we'd wiggled the trailer in and gotten unpacked. The keypad entry didn't work and we just got the actual physical key out of the lock box and used it the entire time.
