Super 8 by Wyndham Riverside AL

Quiet, clean, friendly ownership, reasonably priced. Just need a TV guide, the cable is slow, and no way to determine what channels are available. Front desk is also unable to help.

We enjoy our stay here most years while we are in town. This year, we ended up in a room that had issues with the wall near the AC unit - it seemed to be maybe leaking or had previously leaked and the wall was damaged from that. The pool is always great and being on the water is a perk. This year the on site laundry wasn’t great, machines were out of order leaving one working washer and dryer for large groups in town for a baseball tournament.

The hotel itself is a little outdated and the rooms are small and cramped compared to newer buildings. The pool along with the great view of the river close by were a huge highlight for us. The staff was awesome and very friendly, they did all they could to help accommodate our stay.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast is continental but I had coffee and bagel and banana which was fine for me. I would stay there again. I was on the lake side with a nice view.
