Great place to stay. Check in was easy. Owner gets back with you quickly and very friendly. The place was clean, beautiful and quiet. I would highly recommend it. The grounds are beautiful too!

Beautiful apartment on a beautiful lake. Easy to find and accessible to town but out enough to get away. Clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We had a great stay.

My wife and I traveled to the area on Memorial Day weekend from South Florida for an engagement party. The space was perfect and clean. Maxine and Doug were wonderful hosts. My wife and I truly enjoyed the basket full of snacks and delicious homemade cookies. We hope to stay here again when we return next year for the wedding.

""Home Away from Home" offers an ideal retreat from the daily grind. Doug and Maxine have exceeded expectations in crafting a tranquil and inviting haven that boasts tasteful decor, meticulous upkeep, and an authentic homely feel. Their extraordinary kindness and hospitality made us feel more like long-time friends than newcomers. We eagerly anticipate our next visit, which will surely extend beyond just a weekend. "Home Away from Home" comes highly recommended. Maxine, the cookies were delicious!
