Mary made the check in process very easy and informative. Her communication was consistent and helpful while being very accommodating.

House is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you could ever need. Mary was amazing to work with and the welcome basket was a huge hit. Loved that the house is right on the lake and can go kayaking at any time and only a short walk into town. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Skate n Ski during Christmas! We loved the beautiful decor in the house - especially all the Christmas touches! - the views of the lake, and the proximity to town and skiiing. Mary was an exceptional host and left the most sweet and thoughtful gifts for our two girls for Christmas. We will surely return for another visit. It is truly a magical place in a winter wonderland setting.

Great house for our family of 4! Host was very thoughtful and communicative on our arrival and with local suggestions. Would definitely recommend for any group visiting Lake Placid!
