Casa Iris

We have just returned from our trip to Italy. We were a group of three families—4 adults and 4 teenagers—and Casa Iris in Alpe Colla was our final stay. The location is wonderful! It is situated just above the town of Omegna, surrounded by a forest. The silence is absolute, and the air is incredibly fresh. The hosts were amazingly welcoming, sweet, and always ready to help. The rooms have absolutely everything you need, and they were cleaned every single day. One of our rooms had direct access to the lawn, complete with a small table and chairs—it was the perfect spot to sit, drink wine, and enjoy the peace and fresh air. For those who love nature, there are great hiking trails right nearby. The breakfasts were delicious, and the hostess even packed paninis for us to take on the road, which was such a thoughtful gesture! There is also a restaurant at the hotel, and the food there is simply outstanding!!! Honestly, it was the most delicious food we ate during our entire trip! Huge thanks to the hosts for their incredible hospitality. We highly recommend this place!

Everything good that you could expect from a host, I found with Nicoletta and Michele. The facilities, breakfast, and food at the restaurant were all very good. The peaceful atmosphere and surroundings were perfect. Highly recommended!

Clearer driving directions would be appreciated. Upon reaching the square in Germagno, follow the narrow uphill road on the right to reach Casa Iris and Osteria La Baita. It is located on the road leading to the monastery.

Le cadre au calme - appartement spacieux et confortable avec douche italienne - petit jardin à disposition - excellent et copieux petit déjeuner - les hôtes sont charmants - très bon restaurant attenant - attention, l’accès en voiture est conseillé via Germanio ( route plus large )
