Located in an ancient historic village along the Via Francigena, halfway between Lucca and the sea, is this small, rustic retreat sheltered by a hill covered with holm oaks and broom. Upon entering the house, you’ll find the living room and kitchen on the first floor, and two double bedrooms with a bathroom and a panoramic terrace on the second floor. The property is home to olive trees, fruit trees, and many wild herbs. In this bucolic setting, you can go hiking and biking. The beach at Viareggio is a 20-minute drive away, and the city walls of Lucca are 15 minutes away. You can head to the beach and enjoy the cool evening air, or take beautiful hikes in the hills or the nearby Apuan Alps. The airport and the city of Pisa are very close by—just a 30- to 40-minute drive. Ample parking, a shop, and on-site tastings are available. Restaurants and supermarkets are 3–6 km away.
