The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, typically on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October, however, we would recommend checking the exact date ahead of placing your booking. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. Whilst many visitors enjoy the colour and vibrancy associated with the fairs, other visitors prefer to avoid Stow on these dates
Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted

The place was as pictured and so cute! Location is superb. The bathtub was so nice to be able to relax after a long hike in the Cotswolds. The only reason I didn’t score it higher is that some furnishings like the carpet and couch show some wear and tear. Also there were people staying upstairs and you could hear every step they took which is really annoying. This property is run by a company and I messaged them about a blow dryer since the description said it had one which it didn’t. When I emailed the response was to provide my own which was a bit frustrating since we were traveling from the US.

The Old Workshop is in the town, close to eateries and lovely independent shops. It is ideal for 2 people.
and has everything you need ; whatever the weather for a pleasant stay. My only criticism is the grubby uncomfortable sofa.

Actual apartment is lovely. TV would only work with Netflix. Internet then with four people was not very good. It also didn't reach round all the rooms very well. The other people staying above had 2 dogs which you could hear every step and run they did up and down the apartment as the floors must be solid and not at all insulated. Area is nice for couples but in hindsight not for families. So if your a couple then the venue and the surrounding bars and restaurants are great.
