Location was good, although maybe too good. Sleeping with window open leads one to hear the trains running just outside pretty much all night.
Just opposite the building is an abandoned building due to the earthquake 5yrs ago. It has graffiti all over it

What a wonderful place. Architecturally really interesting, wonderful setup, very spacious room, wonderful bathroom.
Food was also really very nice. Really recommended, excellent value for money.
And great location in the centre of town.

The hotel has spacious rooms and a very nice bathroom with a walk-in shower. Its location is excellent: very central, close to Ban Jelačić Square, the main square of Zagreb, and conveniently near a tram stop.
Breakfast offers a good choice of both hot dishes, such as omelettes and pancakes, and a cold buffet. However, the main issue is that breakfast is served until 11:00, but if you arrive after 9:30, the buffet selection is already quite limited because items are not properly replenished. This is not what one would expect from a 5-star hotel.
Another downside was the Wi-Fi, which was not very stable during the stay. Overall, the hotel has many positive aspects, especially the room and location, but the breakfast service and Wi-Fi need improvement.
