Very convenient for local buses into Canterbury and Margate - we used them most days and left the car at the cottage. Also the Park and Ride is not far away.
The facilities were very good and we were able to prepare meals and do washing. It was comfortable to stay in and watch TV. The bed was comfortable and there was adequate storage space for our things. We found a lot to do and see in Canterbury itself.
We misinterpreted the photographs of the property and mistakenly thought there was a toilet upstairs as well as downstairs. This matters because my wife has mobility problems - but we managed. It would be helpful if it was clearer that the only toilet is downstairs.

The cottage was very clean.
The fact that there was no coffee table in front of the sofa.
The non refundable obligatory £40 breakage fee tacked on t0 the £50 cleaning fee.

Good location close to Canterbury and Herne Bay
Clean and comfortable good towels and facilities
Owner very friendly lives next door
Difficult to find especially in dark
Multiple emails and messages from property agents with multiple requests for arrival time despite lockbox
Damage waiver very expensive at £40 alternative of £500 security deposit with £10 fee also excessive
Cooker instructions would help
Guest manual online not helpful
