A Casa da mare

Casa da mare was a quirky Moroccan hotel in the far corner of the old Portuguese city, filled with interesting features to provide the authentic Moroccan experience. The staff were fantastic; kind and considerate. Couldn't do enough to help! Even did some washing and wouldn't take payment. I had a large room with two separate bedrooms a sofa, tv, fridge, kettle, etc. The breakfasts were huge; orange juice, coffee, fruit, yoghurt, bread, croissants, pancakes, omlette, etc. The view from the terrace was stunning! The beaches are miles long. There weren't any mosquitoes so the windows were left wide open. El jahdida is a very traditional Moroccan town. I felt very safe there. I enjoyed staying at the casa da mare.

There wasn't any air conditioning in the room so it was excruciatingly hot at night despite the windows being open.Some rooms did appear to have fans. The tiny staircases up to the roof top terrace would be difficult for anyone with balance or mobility issues.

We had a perfect stay at Casa da Mare and we'd be very happy to come back next time we are in El Jadida!

Wonderful view on the rooftop and amazing staff, definitely recommend !
