VERY Dissapointing and quite obviously a liar from the printed response.

We stayed at Philippos & Alexandros Apartments for nine nights, and unfortunately this was one of the most disappointing places we've stayed in for many years. The biggest issue is that the property is not beachfront as advertised. It is actually located behind an ATV/quad bike hire shop and what appears to be a bar stock yard. There is no beach or sea view whatsoever, which was very misleading when booking. The apartment itself was decent enough and reasonably clean, but it lacked basic items. There was no toaster, ( g forman grill)the kitchen utensils were very limited, making self-catering more difficult than it should have been, and there were no staff on site to discuss any issues or concerns. Customer service was extremely poor once we had arrived. We requested an additional pillow and had to wait 28 hours before one was provided. Even worse, when we needed to contact the host, none of our phone calls were answered. We eventually contacted Booking.com, who attempted to call the host themselves and later informed us that they also received no answer. That is simply unacceptable when guests need assistance. The Wi-Fi was extremely poor throughout our stay, and neither television worked despite being advertised. We weren't on holiday to watch TV, but it's nice to have it on while getting ready or having breakfast. Facilities that are advertised should work. The outdoor areas were also disappointing. Sitting at the back meant being eaten alive by insects, while sitting at the front meant dealing with numerous wasps gathering around the air conditioning drain pipe in search of water. Even if that wasn't the case, the only view is of the quad bike hire shop. Before travelling we requested a late check-out. The host eventually replied just six days before our departure simply to say no. As a result, we had to find and pay for alternative accommodation for around 12 hours while waiting for our flight home. There is no toaster..

Friendly owner, brought us fruits. Good location ! Short walk across the street to a nice sandy beach. The apartment is spacious, 1 extra single, 1Double, Two people could sleep in the living-room kitchen space. Sheets & 4 Towels ( Had to ask for change) but only one dish drying cloth for 1 Week !

Smell: The sewage system must be a big problem in Kos in general. The terrible smell came and went, we always had to cover the drains in the bathroom and keep windows open to air-out the rooms. Noise: In front of the property is a buggy car, jeep, bicycle rental, nice people ! but power washing from 9AM to 8PM, 7 days a week. A restaurant with the air filter blowing all day; a parking lot behind the property was okay.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war sehr gut. Sie ist nah zum Strand und zu den Restaurants. Die moderne Ausstattung macht einen sehr guten Eindruck. Die Betten sind bequem. Viel Platz und Ablagefläche in der Wohnung.

Die Unterkunft Philippos war nicht für die gebuchten drei Personen hergerichtet. Es hat bis zum nächsten Tag gedauert, bis Abhilfe geschaffen wurde. Die Fernseher funktionierten die komplette Aufenthaltsdauer nicht. Wir haben dies reklamiert. Das W-LAN wurde uns auf mehrmalige Nachfrage für den Küchenbereich zugänglich gemacht. Die Küchenschränke rochen modrig und beim Abwischen innen, war dieses Tuch grau. Die Kommunikation und Information vor Ort fanden wir nicht gut.
