Bay Cottage is an absolute gem, in a really quiet residential area it is perfectly positioned just a short 10 minute walk to the centre of town with all the shops, pubs and restaurants you need and a 5 minute walk over the bridge to Fitz Park. On street parking close to the property was easy to find with no issues at all. The cottage is a great place to use as a base for exploring Keswick, Derwentwater, along with all the walks and climbs in the surrounding area. The property was spotlessly clean, generously proportioned with a fantastic fully functioning recently refurbished kitchen, large dining area and lovely lounge. Bedrooms are fabulous with really comfy beds and huge bathroom containing a separate bath (great for soaking aching muscles) and shower. We will definitely be staying at the cottage again when we visit the Lake District in the future to complete more of the Wainwrights
