This charming loft from our Architecture Collection is located on the second floor of the “Bel Air” building; it has been redesigned in keeping with contemporary trends, blending “new brutalism” with “modernism.” spanning 90 square meters across two floors, it showcases a unique style—an experimental vision that the valley’s designers and architects sought to express through bold color choices and a contemporary design inspired by the master of abstraction, Piet Mondrian, with a touch of Yves Saint Laurent’s French haute couture and the aesthetic codes of the 1960s.
Far from traditional norms, this past-meets-future cosmos is adorned with works of art by sculptors, designers, and creators primarily based in the Valley and curated by Les Sculpteurs du Lac.
“Nefertiti,” one of the loft’s signature pieces, was created by sculptor Robert Vernet; it is a sublime, one-of-a-kind piece measuring 1.44 m and weighing 24.5 kg (52.9 lbs), crafted from brushed, patinated, and varnished metal, dated 2012.
