Iris Hotel Baku

We stayed here for 4 days with my family booking two rooms while the property is amazing and staff is courteous , on first day of our check in we found the one lady who seemed like manager to be quite ride. Our credit card payment was not going through for one room though we already paid for other room and the way she talked to us seemed quite rude specially. Otherwise is recommended and would stay again but the people on front desk need a some training

Overall the staff and hotel was very good. The room was very spacious. I had contacted the hotel before arrival and kindly asked for a room away from the street and higher up to avoid noise level. They were very kind to accommodate us with a room on 4th floor. We didn’t hear much noise from the busy street, which was noise. We were however bothered by very noisy guests next door. This was not the hotels fault. Upon asking politely, the guests next door to us turned down their volume. I was happy with this pick. The only thing I would point out is that the hotel is not located in the most scenic part of Baku. It’s more raw and authentic as you would expect from hotels close to central stations anywhere in the world. We felt safe and didn’t mind getting a glimpse of the authentic part of town as well.
