The hobbit house is a very charming home. It’s been beautifully remodeled, and the grounds are perfect for making dinners at home. It is walking distance to everything that you might need in Idyllwild. And most importantly, in my opinion, the property manager/owner was only a phone call away. When we needed anything at all, we could contact him and he responded. This is very important in my opinion. Highly recommend! It’s a great place to stay.

We had a very comfortable stay; the place was spotless, fresh towels and bedding and nice amenities like Keurig coffee pods& creamer. The location is very short walk to downtown. The host responded promptly to questions. The only drawback is the tiny circular staircase that takes you to the second floor bedrooms (the only shower is downstairs). The staircase is a safety concern in our minds. We ended up carrying our suitcases down the outside staircase to our cars.

The property was beautifully remodeled and both stunning and peaceful. Wonderful rooms for yoga and enjoying a good book but great WiFi and streaming. Also, a perfect location because we could walk to restaurants, shops and town. The house was stocked with everything we could need and the bed and linens were very comfortable. Lastly, the host was amazing and very responsive!

Nice house with good amenities, a very short walk to downtown and short drives to hiking trails. The house is very bright with lots of windows. The place was perfect for a family long-weekend getaway. Would absolutely stay again.
