Breakfast - Scrambled egg was very bad !

A fridge in the room was a bonus and the bathroom was well appointed.

Lack of desk or work space was a surprise

The hotel itself was lovely and exceeded our expectations. The surroundings, accommodation and overall setting were excellent. However, unfortunately, several aspects of the service and organisation fell short of the standard we had hoped for, and we feel there are some areas that could be improved.

Car Registration and Parking We were not informed that we could enter our car registration on the iPad at reception. I had specifically asked where to park, but this information was not provided. This was frustrating and could easily have been avoided with clearer communication at the time. Bar Service On returning from an evening event, we visited the bar for a nightcap. Unfortunately, there was no Baileys available, and the bar assistant did not know how to pour a Guinness for my husband. He instead opened an Estrella, which was served in the wrong glass and consequently went flat. This was disappointing and detracted from what should have been a relaxing end to our evening. Breakfast Organisation and Choice The organisation at breakfast was poor, with no clear guidance on where to go or where to queue. This created confusion and made the experience unnecessarily chaotic. The selection of healthy options was very limited. There was no obvious granola or fresh fruit to accompany the yoghurt, and the gluten-free options were also poor. There were also long queues at the coffee machines, suggesting that additional machines would help improve the flow of guests, particularly during busy periods. Hot Breakfast and Availability The hot breakfast was particularly disappointing. The sausages, bacon and eggs had run out, and we had to wait approximately 10 minutes for them to be replenished. There were also no croissants left, and it appeared that items were not being replenished promptly. This was disappointing, particularly as breakfast is such an important part of the overall hotel experience.

Clean and comfortable bedrooms

Breakfast awful from food to staff and atrocious system which frequently meant queuing for empty bread baskets and undercooked bacon. Staff just gazed into space looking gormless or said that was it. Never book or pay for breakfast here.
