Very nice property, great location. Kids loved the hot tub.

Lovely spacious renovated old barn, is much bigger than the pictures made it look which was great. Approx 30 minute walk into St Ives if you don’t mind muddy/country roads for part of the way, was much easier to walk than to try and find parking in the centre at the time we visited so not a problem for us at all.

If you plan on making full use of the kitchen and other facilities I would recommend bringing your own kitchen roll (none provided), washing up liquid (none provided), kitchen scissors (none provided), sharp knife(s) (only 1 in the kitchen and very blunt), shower gel (none provided), toilet roll (only 2 rolls provided for a group of 6 for 4 nights) and washing tabs if you plan to use the washing machine (as there were none provided). Only 1 loo and located within a wet room so bring flip flops as the floor stays soaking wet for ages after a shower. You don’t get chlorine for the hot tub so you can only safely use it once during your stay and have to pay £30 for the pleasure. Also pack an eye mask as no blinds on the large sky light windows in the bedrooms. Last but not least, conflicting information between our actual booking details from booking.com and what the host says in person, be wary, and don’t question it or you’ll be met with confrontation. We experienced a rather unnecessary tone and a very defensive and threatening nature. Made for quite an unpleasant last night for us because of the mood we experienced, perhaps we caught her on a bad day but was really not nice, especially on the first day of the New Year. A different host and would recommend this place to everyone :)
