Had an early morning flight out of LaGuardia so I decided to stay in a hotel then commute from Connecticut at 2:30 am. Hotel is in Chinatown about 10 min from the airport. A lot of inexpensive food options, some of them just around the corner, some shopping, and a few pharmacies within walking distance. Also LIRR and subway are a short walk.
The hotel itself was good for the quick over night stay. Clean hotel but resembles an apartment building more than a hotel. Stayed on the second floor but didn’t hear a lot of outside noise. For an extended layover or a quick place to sleep on a budget I would recommend.

We booked last minute, since our flights were full #standbylife. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely be staying again my next trip to NY.
