Somm's retreat provides every comfort you could ask for in Sonoma. From the moment you walk in the door, the peaceful modern property opens up to an incredible kitchen entertainment space, a cozy deck and stunning views for sunrise cappuccinos and sunset wine toasts. We cooked several meals in the well appointed kitchen and thoroughly enjoyed the coffee bar along with the fool proof instructions. Looking forward to returning again for another visit!

Cute house with a very well appointed kitchen, lots of games and puzzles for kids, and fun murals in the smallest bedroom.

We ended up here for a single Sunday night after our Bodega Bay stay ran short — not exactly a planned stop, but we needed three bedrooms and this fit the bill geographically. Unfortunately, it didn't leave a great impression. Coming off much nicer lodging in Bodega Bay probably raised the bar, but the issues here were real. The furniture was dated and uncomfortable, the decor felt tired, and the space was cluttered. The only TV was undersized for the room, and with five remotes on hand, none of them could lower the volume — it was so loud we ended up turning it off mid-NBA game. A $20 universal remote would solve all of that. The front door lock had a low-battery warning the entire stay, which had us genuinely worried about being locked out after dinner — a simple fix that shouldn't be left for guests to discover. The volume of emails from Expedia and ZenStay combined topped 20 for a single one-night stay. That's excessive by any measure.
