Lahabana Resort

Oh my god, this was paradise, absolutely paradise in Hua Hin, very close to the beach. The setup is amazingly beautiful and so aesthetically pleasing. The pool is so huge, and the place itself is so huge, with many levels and a reception area. There is a gym, but getting around on the first day can be a bit hard. The rooms are also booked mostly automatically. For example, there is no front desk, only security guards and staff running the place. There is a contact person who runs around at random times of the day, but there is also a phone line or WhatsApp contact. For the check-in process, you just need to be careful: get the keys from the automated designated places and get into the room once you are in the room and checked in. This is a paradise, and it is amazing. It is very close to the beach, but you will definitely spend a lot of time inside the resort premises, especially in the huge and beautiful pool. It is also romantic at night. The gym is pretty decent. Again, it is a little bit away from the main city, so it would be really nice if you have a scooter or a car to get around. Still, you can find places to walk around within about 1 km and places to eat within about 200 m. If you walk about 100 m, you are on the main road, and you can find shade and workshops to get into the city. I had a very great time in this place, and I will come back here again and again. It is definitely worth the money, and it is like a paradise. You can definitely bring your romantic partners here and live like in paradise.

Nothing is too bad, but for the check-in process, you just need to be careful. Maybe I missed reading the information, so there is no reception. You have to find your keys yourself through the information in the chat, call the person, or go to the designated location near the hallway to find your key. If you get in touch through WhatsApp or Line, the check-in process is easy. For payment, make sure to pay by credit card first, or you can get in touch with the person through WhatsApp or Line and then pay. That way, the check-in process can be a little better. I love the automation, but it can be a little better.

Good location near beach, night food market; great swimming pool, calm environment, nice staff

Very nice resort in a great location. I stayed in an apartment for a few nights featuring a kitchenette, private bathroom, balcony, washing machine, and drying rack. There are two large pools surrounded by shade-providing trees, as well as a gym. The beach is just a few minutes away. Within walking distance, you'll find three supermarkets, a night market, a shopping market, and plenty of cafés, restaurants, and massage places. Online check in.

No daily cleaning service in the room. Towels looked like they were recycled. You need to bring your own slippers, shampoo and soap and towels. Internet was slow.

It was cheap, lobby was nice (but doesn't reflect the state of the room) Pool is ok

NOT A RESORT, it's a residential building. The price was cheap, yes. But I felt massively misled. Where to start.... Building: very busy in and out. Old men with very young thai ladies. People cooking in their apartments with doors wide open. Smelt OK but not what I expect from a 'resort' Room : looked slightly like the pictures (if they were taken 10 years ago). Bed was uncomfortable and the duvet/comforter was actually smaller than the bed with a sheet that was not fitted so you'd find it crumpled up underneath you. Lots of rules 'NO NOISE' sign sellotaped to the wall amongst other rules plastered everywhere, not the vibe. Given three random towels that were way past their life (including a retired tatty hilton towel ) they all smelt like instant noodles-chicken flavour of I'm guessing. No water when we arrived which were not told beforehand. Then told it would be on for 3pm. Waited until 4pm and gave up and went out smelly. Water was back on when we returned that night. Pool- In the description 'you can enjoy a snack at the poolside bar' WHERE IS THIS BAR?. I searched the grounds to find one drinks vending machine. Pool was cold and unsuitable for swimming at 1.4 metres. Glorified paddling pool if you ask me. No sunbeds as such if you wanted to catch a tan. 10000 rules plastered everywhere around the pool, again not vibes. But will admit it's nice to look at...... Service- only by text, no face to face interaction. Apart from when I was pretty much chased down for payment in cash. Which I wasn't told beforehand (thought I would be able to pay through booking.com or a a card machine) And they offer no other service apart from payment chase and tell you your key is in a lockbox (not locked) in the lobby. No luggage storage, just told to leave it somewhere in lobby. So not a resort in the slightest. If advertised as self service apartment I would of been happy with price.
