Absolutely beautiful. Photos are accurate. Clean. Spacious (especially after staying in Tokyo). Quiet neighbourhood. Felt safe. Close to Kyoto Station. Had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Owner was lovely. Met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the house.
It said 3 bedrooms but was basically 2 bedrooms and 2 sofa beds in 2 other rooms, which weren’t made up for our stay. One bedroom had 2 futons and the other had a double bed. It worked out for us though.

Check-in was smooth, and we really appreciated being able to check in early. The host was friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The property itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed.

This has been my favourite place to stay in while visiting Japan. It is a newly developed property and everything is perfect. The layout means there is lots of spaces, so it was nice to have rooms and nooks for everyone to get some time to themselves. It is beautiful.
Great location and the host was lovely.

Pretty much everything- the property was exactly as described and it is superbly maintained.
Larger bath towels in the bathroom would be useful. Also only large knives were available in the kitchen, a few smaller knives would be useful.
