Had a fantastic 4-night stay at the duplex with plunge pool. Thank you for the special ‘Happy Anniversary’ touch. It’s a boutique hotel so it was great not having huge noisy crowds at breakfast time. The half ala-carte buffet meant hot dishes were freshly prepared and there’s less wastage. The only issue we had was the shower room. While the rain shower was fab, the drainage was very slow. Brought it up to the reception but no improvement so I guess nothing could be done. There’s not much going on within walking distance, so the complimentary shuttle to Icon Siam was much appreciated. This hotel went beyond my expectations. It has 2 pools, a rooftop bar, and free rides to ICONSIAM, one of the newest malls in Bangkok. You can choose between a tuk tuk ride or a boat ride. I would say this hotel has one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Hotel breakfasts are usually kind of boring, but here, besides the buffet, you can also order 2 dishes from their menu. Of course, I picked noodles and moo ping(grilled pork skewers). If you come to Thailand and never try moo ping, you’re seriously missing out. The taste of 2 dishes I picked on my first day back in Thailand felt like they were shouting, “Welcome home” to me. The only thing I can complain was AC, it was not cool enough in my room rather than that everything was amazing!!
