The place was nice. A little dated and worn, but for a few days at the beach it was fine.Guests who stayed in the bedroom with en-suite were very put off by the state of the bed and bathroom. When pulling off the covers, the fitted sheet had just been thrown on top of the bed, not even fitted and the white sheets were stained yellow. Upon changing the sheets themselves, the new sheets (white) also had yellow stains. Owners should invest in new sheets and probably not white.The toilet seat in the same room was broken on one side and thus swiveled when being sat on. Guests purchased duck tape to hold it in place.Room was hard to keep adequately cool. Finally guests saw a missing glass pane on the bedroom window.If I may also suggest that being an extremely hot area, the host should invest in much LARGER ice trays. And more than just 3 mini trays. Guests need alot more ice than those trays can accommodate.The host should also speak with property management regarding the very dirty, moldy pool below that housed a dead crab for at least 4 days. Guests avoided the pool.But for the price and location, it was ok.

I absolutely loved the location of this place! So close to the beach and very quiet. The area is very well maintained within the complex. Inside the unit could do with a repainting in the kitchen area, and the safe was missing a battery – but we didn’t need to use it so that was not a concern of mine and I did alert the rental company so that should be fixed for the next renters. You definitely need a car here as almost everything is a drive… However, an easy drive into Coco for plenty of restaurant options and a bunch of local eateries along the way! There are plenty of different supermarkets in Coco as well. The communication was excellent … They answered almost immediately and I was very happy with their service. From the unit, you had beautiful sunsets every night! I definitely appreciated the screen on the balcony that you could lower to block the sun in the afternoon from being in your eyes. My only negative about the place was, being an American, I would have appreciated mattress and pillow covers so they could be easily cleaned. Having a washer/dryer was amazing with all of the heat/humidity. The unit was also well equipped! Plenty of bath & beach towels, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs etc.

Wonderful property, gorgeous views from the balcony including lots of bird and even monkeys! Snorkeling from the beach was exactly what we had hope for (several different colourful fishes and swimming in schools of fish). A rental car made the stay worryfree as we were able to head to Coco whenever we needed anything. Sunset colors were gorgeous in Ocotal but we couldn't see the sunset directly on the horizon. A drive over to Playa Hermosa one evening, checked that off of our trip bucket list.Communication with staff was excellent. Would gladly stay here again!

Comfortable spot to enjoy Playa Ocotal. Easy walk to the beach, and the views from the balcony were superb. We'll be back!
