The immediate location is very pleasant and salubrious. Once you get away from there the quality drops, but then that's KL for you.

I liked everything except the misleading information, clearly stated on my reservation as the first item, that the apartment had a hot tub, and the other misleading information that "all of our apartments have a bath". My apartment had neither, just a shower. It was a very nice shower but I was expecting, and had paid for, a hot tub. I did contact the manager and he was quick to respond. He apologised and said the hot tub detail was a "backend" problem in their data which he had corrected. I find it a bit odd that after all the guests they have had that this problem was not fixed before but hey ho. The description that "all of our apartments have a bath" was in the main text description, however, and could not have been a "backend problem". NOT ALL OF THEIR APARTMENTS HAVE A BATH. So I got an apology for something that helped sell me the apartment but which wasn't there. The other thing was all the nonsense you have to go through to get in. You have to go through a security gate, where the guard checks your passport and writes down its number. Then you have to find a locker in the lobby and use a provided combination to open it. Then you have to take out a box inside the locker and enter another combination on it to get two keycards. Then you have to swipe one keycard to get through the main building door. Then you have to use the other keycard to go up in the lift. Then you have to key in a combination on the door of the apartment to get in. I count that as too many barriers to entry and, of course, it means you have to receive all these codes and instructions in a massive volley of Whatsapp messages you get before you arrive. (they send you a lot more Whatsapps than these necessary ones, most of which are nonsense: "We can't wait to have you stay with us!" (Yeah, right.
