Luang Phasouk Hotel

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and fulling. The room has everything you need.

The rooms are not cleaned during your stay, and beds are not made while staying at the hotel.

The location is fantastic. The hotel room is spotless, and the breakfast is incredibly delicious! The staff is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond to assist you. They offer a variety of services, including trip arrangements, taxi bookings, and laundry services.

My room was a decent size as I was traveling alone. It was on a quiet street, so I did not hear any noise at all. What I liked most about the place was that it is central to many temples and a short walking distance to the night market, Mt. Phousi and a ton of shops and local restaurants. The bus stop to Kuang Si waterfall is about a 15-20 minute walk (in Thatluang Park and is about 50k for one way-way cheaper than booking privately). The staff was very nice and accommodating and kept my room clean.

If you like firm mattresses like I do, be advised the beds are very soft and bouncy. The bathroom was clean, but had a few ants as it was a bit hot outside. Also, if you want to see the monk procession early in the morning, they do lock the doors at night and no one is at the desk. It was dark, so I did not see they left the key at the front desk, so just look there and you can let yourself out.

The location.

The rooms were dirty, we found spider webs in the room. The towels were dirty with stains (apparently blood stains). The breakfast was lack of variety, really poor.
