The cottage was very comfortable and it had been equipped to a high standard with everything you could possibly need. It was very clean and tidy. The welcome pack and the message on the blackboard gave it that personal touch. It made you feel very welcomed as a guest in someone's house. It was within walking distance of the centre of Leyburn and the breath taking view from the Shawl. Campbells was a great place to shop with such a great range of foodstuffs. Will definitely return.
Nothing to dislike

Excellent location, very comfortable house with great facilities.
No batteries in the remote in the front bedroom.
Thin walls - could hear next door moving around.

Lovely cottage. Nicely renovated. Great, well equipped kitchen. Very attentive and thoughtful hosts who left a lovely basket of goodies for us. Centrally located. Excellent instructions on how to locate the property.
Expected to find shampoo, but only a small negative.

Location a short walk to the village centre which is great. Lovely hamper on arrival and has the facilities you’d need.
Needs a deep clean after every stay. Especially in the en suite bathroom (shower basket and the gaps in grouting, plus the floor around/ down the side of the toilet). Kitchen needs it too as it had finger marks on the cupboards from previous guests. House is on a main road so front bedroom does have passing traffic incase you’re not used to that.
