My husband passed away unexpectedly on July 15, 2024 God has taken me to the wilderness. I am determined to retake my life and enjoy the happiness that is around me. Does not mean that I still will not be sad and lonely for the losses that have happened this year. At this time I want to repair relationships, set boundaries for myself, remove things that make me unhappy, but enjoy the life I have left. I have friends and family that I have shut out and I am determined not to do that anymore. I am going to come home and be the vibrant person that I know I can be, I love all the people that have chosen to be in my life but I know I can never fully enjoy the presence if I am bitter about the past so instead of living in the past, I’m gonna make peace with it and move on.

Overall property was accurately described on Vrbo. The whole process was extremely smooth from booking, to check in , to check out. Property was furnished with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Our only problems/ suggestions are 1) we couldn’t get patio fireplace to work 2) out door fire pit should have a poker to control log burn. They also should consider moving it since it sits too close to the trees Otherwise, our stay was all that we could ask for.

Items from previous guest were left in the bedroom and shower (socks and dental picks). Spider webs throughout the cabin. Grape vines from snacks left in the living room of the cabin.
