Our stay in this quaint cabin was perfect and exactly as represented. It’s well equipped, the amenities were as described and for the one item I needed to connect with the host, they were responsive and as helpful as possible. I’d highly recommend the area, if you are looking for peace, a short drive to many of the mountain hiking trails and lakes. It was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. One note, is the road in and out of the “subdivision” is very steep in a few areas, we had a small sedan which was fine, but if I was doing it again, I’d likely select a small SUV that sits a little higher and maybe has a downhill transmission setting, but that is a small price to pay for the beauty and enjoyment we had at the cabin.

Loved this property

Reviewer Comments: Lakeview Retreat was a great place for our family spring break, but be prepared for a bit of a roller coaster drive to get to the cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The views from the deck were beautiful. We visited Dahlonega, Amicalola Falls and Ruth. We also did some gold mining near by. I would recommend.

If you aren’t use to driving in the mountains don’t arrive at night! Otherwise, everything was great! The house is beautiful and fun!
