Our family of 11 enjoyed this beautiful home. The house was big enough for privacy but the open living room and dining room brought us together! Our three grown Children each had bedrooms and their own bathrooms for their families. Being in the country was quiet but only 10-15 minutes to town if we needed anything. Two refrigerators in the house and also one in the game room and cigar room to store all the food and beverages was helpful. Everyone enjoyed watching the cows. This house was well equipped and even had beach towels for the pool! The pool lining was soft - very nice. Our kids young and old spent a lot of time in the game room and fishing in the pond! We had a fire one night and watched all the planes in the distance and spotted many satellites in the sky. We forgot sticks to roast marshmallows and even found those were stocked in the house! There were so many things to do for everyone at the house, but we did visit Bloomfield and had ice cream. A lovely town. A very friendly white dog visited us one evening. The kids loved him. He was so well behaved. Wonderful memories for our family.

We had a wonderful time at our staff retreat at the White Dog Lodge. This place has everything you need and then some. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and the accommodations were awesome as always! See you next year!

White Dog Lodge was incredible! It was the perfect place for our family of 10 ranging in age from 82 to 15. Plenty of comfortable bedrooms and more than enough bathrooms. We were very impressed with the amount of household items provided! We never had to worry about toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap & dishwasher pods, coffee, etc. It's the little details that make a big difference! We had one slight issue that was resolved immediately. We had a great time hanging out in the game room and spending time together at the pool and hot tub. We didn't really use the bourbon & cigar room, but it was a very cool addition. Grocery shopping was just a 15 minute drive and dining out in Bardstown was maybe 20, which was very convenient! We chose White Dog Lodge because it was central to our family that was coming from Ohio, Illinois, & Tennessee, but we would choose it all over again because of our wonderful experience!
