Very spacious and a great location within the walled village where accommodation is limited. Close proximity to all local facilities including the wonderful New Zealand Liberation museum. Free long-term car parking nearby. Very good value for money. We loved it.
We didn't mind the narrow steep stairway to the apartment which is on the first floor, but older people might need to consider this. (We are in our 70s but reasonably fit still.) Once you are in the apartment, it's all one level, however.
No double bed but we didn't mind sleeping in singles. (The sole bedroom has 3 singles.) It is not deluxe but it is very serviceable and great value.

The property typically offers a 2-night stay, but they allowed us to stay for one night. As two Kiwi's we were there to visit the NZ Liberation Museum and the property location allowed this to happen with ease. The landlord did everything he could to help us enjoy our stay during one of the hottest times in Europe; he even dropped us off at the train station 2 km away, which we really appreciated, as it was 37 degrees that afternoon.

The location was great.
The size of the apartment is enormous and wonderful to have some spare space and a small kitchen.
The stairs were difficult for a senior couple.
To have a hairdryer would have been great., and an iron too.
There was a washing machine, but nothing or nowhere to dry your laundry.

Great location
Single beds in both bedrooms. No fan in hot weather. Very little equipment in kitchen. No oven. No bath towels just hand towel for shower ?

"Fantastic location, close to the porte and town. The host was extremely helpful and welcoming. I had the whole apartment to myself, very spacious."
