Do not stay here. Even if you some have a boat. If you drive up I. Something nice. The “residents” stare you down like

Nothing, we didn’t even go into the actual room. IF it looks like the photos I’m assuming it’s nice.

When we pulled up there was a white guy and a black guy standing at the front of the property smoking a pipe.. not pot.. either meth or crack.. stumbling around. Further in the U shaped property in the corner there were 3 cars parked all the way up to the door with a group of people doing and selling drugs. There are people that live in these small units. So there are cars parked between the units. We were there for the airboat races so we were looking for a place that had enough parking for our boat and us. We sat in the parking lot for about 30 minutes to observe the situation. We only needed to sleep there. And I would t have been able to sleep worrying about theft or anything happening to our property. The airboat is just an open boat. With expensive things on it easy to get to. I messaged them and explained that it did not seem safe and this wasn’t the place for us. I asked for a refund. I have never cancelled a booking. He told me to cover the boat. With what, an airboat cover? lol. He said people stay with boats all the time. I am not sure that is true. The boating community takes pride in their boat. And anyone in their right mind would worry. He did not refund the money. My advice is if you are coming to Lake O for any of the newly scheduled races. Next one is in September. And you want to sleep instead of tactically watching your boat and ready to shoot someone …. Do not stay here. And never mind all the people hanging out with their doors open and the rooms looking like homeless camps. There are plenty of places to stay that have boat parking. We found that out late in the evening after we left this property.

Never go again no food or restaurants available

Nothing

Disgusting on the outside, personally I would call it a dump did not feel safe, couldn’t wait to leave. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!!!!! Should be taken off your list terrible place! Booking.com should be embarrassed to have this hotel on your list! It makes your company look real bad. I thought at least someone would of check this place out before putting it on your site. Pictures are deceiving!!
