Villa Buddha
Villa Buddha is an impressive holiday villa with an oriental flair affording a prime location in Montechoro, Albufeira. Only 2,5 km from the best golden, sandy beaches and within walking distance to all amenities, this zen oasis is the ideal option for couples or families holidaying together in Albufeira.
This spacious villa has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms (3 en-suite) + 1 guest W.C, sleeping up to 18+4 guests: 3 double bedrooms on the first floor, 1 double bedroom on the ground floor (with an en-suite bathroom) and 2 bedrooms on the lower floor (1 with 4 bunk bed sets and 1 double room with an en-suite bathroom).
On the ground floor, the living / dining area offers a large and comfortable sectional sofa, TV and DVD Player, dining table and an open plan, fully equipped kitchen with an electric hob, coffee machine, dishwasher, oven, washing machine, microwave, dishes & utensils, toaster and refrigerator. The kitchen also has a breakfast bar and stools, where you can enjoy meals or keep the designated chef company. A secondary kitchen is located on the lower floor.
Outdoors, the property offers a large private swimming pool with gardens, patio and a barbecue area ideal for al fresco dining. Sunbeds, hanging chairs and a bamboo covered seating area allow you to make the most of the outdoor space, relax and soak up the sun.
Villa Buddha benefits from air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi and was designed with perfect attention to detail throughout; it’s the ideal escape for a relaxing break in the sun.
The property is located in the Montechoro area, within walking distance to all amenities. The centre of Albufeira is within a 15-minute walk where you can find a variety of shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets and banks. Other locations of interest are the Albufeira Strip with all the best bars and nightlife in town and the historic Albufeira Old Town.
Car hire is not a necessity, unless you wish to discover more of the Algarve. Other options of transportation include the local bus the Albufeira “Giro” with several routes around town and local taxis which are readily available and well-priced (for which contact information will be provided).
The changeover day for this property is on Saturday.
**If your flights are booked or your dates are fixed and these do not match the changeover day, please send an enquiry to confirm that they can be accepted before making a booking.**

Minimum stay is 7 days or multiples of 7 (however this may be flexible in low season)

• Breakage Deposit Groups: €300 per person (payable by credit card only)
• Booking handling, insurance and archive fee of 2,9% to be added on all payments: deposit/final balance/breakage deposit / airport transfer / extras / excursions.
Prices up to 18 people.
• The 19th to 22th persons pay an additional rental amount which includes an extra bed e.g. Folding-Bed/Divan bed (only €203 each, per week) or, in the case of small children (babies/toddlers), a cot (only €21 each, per week).
The administration cost for the alteration of dates is €150.***

We were a group of 17 staying for 7 nights, 10 adults and 7 children aged 3 months to 13 years. It was very spacious for us and everything was perfect. The garden and pool area were great. The location is very good and a short walk to a good grocery store and also a short walk to The Strip where there are lots of restaurants. Quiet and safe neighborhood. All communication was very good and when we contacted them about the dishwasher not working, a new one was brought in after 2 hours. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend Villa Buddha for groups.

Villa Buddha was a great choice for our group. There was plenty of space for everyone, with comfortable bedrooms and several areas to relax. The outdoor area was fantastic, and the location in Montechoro made it easy to enjoy Albufeira, the beach, restaurants and bars.

Villa Buddha exceeded our expectations. The villa is elegant and comfortable, with plenty of space for everyone. We especially loved the bamboo lounge and pool area, which made our stay truly relaxing.

Good villa for a family holiday with a few improvements neededWe stayed here as a family of 14, ranging in age from 4 to 60, and overall had a really lovely holiday. The villa is spacious, well laid out and offers plenty of different bedroom combinations, which worked perfectly for a large group like ours. The pool area was great, with lots of space for sunbathing and relaxing.The location was also very convenient: about a 20–25 minute walk to a lovely beach, 10–15 minutes to the main strip with bars and restaurants, and only a 5-minute Uber ride to the old town. Ubers were cheap, quick and reliable, and the nearest supermarket was only a short walk away.There were, however, a few things that could be improved. For a villa that sleeps up to 22, there definitely wasn’t enough crockery, glasses, plates or cooking equipment, which made mealtimes a bit challenging. There also weren’t enough sunbeds for our group of 14, and the BBQ was very small, to the point we didnt use it. Although the villa technically accommodates 22 people, I feel it would be too cramped for that number.We priced Algarve Vaccation to take us to rhe waterpark but they were double the price of buying tickets online ourselves and booking an Uber to take us there so beware of that. Overall, we had a good stay, but a few upgrades would make it even better for large groups.
