We had a wonderful week staying at Graythwaite Estate in the Lake District. The cottage was excellent — comfortable, well-equipped, and perfect for both the adults and our dogs. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into making it genuinely dog friendly, which made the stay so relaxing and enjoyable. The location was ideal: easy to access from the main roads, yet wonderfully quiet and peaceful once you arrived. It felt like a true escape, with beautiful surroundings and plenty of space to unwind. A perfect base for exploring the Lake District, and we would happily return again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, dog-friendly stay in a lovely setting. We will definitely be back.

Great property in a beautiful area. Well maintained and spotless. I would have liked a couple of mixing bowls in the kitchen but that's all.

Fantastic location with great facilities. Staff very helpful if needed. Great walks amongst the wildlife.

Excellent all round.
