A bit older but perfectly functional, this unit is just about the right size for two people. It would be a tight squeeze for three. Can't beat the location near Kamaole II, restaurants, and shopping! It was no one's fault that S. Kihei Rd was damaged right in front of the complex before our arrival by Kona floods, that could not have been foreseen. Traffic detours were manageable nonetheless and did not have a negative impact on our stay. Kihei Akahi's front office staff were wonderful (shout out to Sasha!), while the folks at Vacation Maui (Todd, Ian, Jace, et al.) were all very helpful and responsive to our inquiries. We were very grateful for Vacation Maui staff delivering parcels we had mailed to ourselves from the mainland, and they quickly inspected any appliance issue we had in the condo. They made our stay worry free! Anything we needed was provided; kitchen and bath were fully stocked upon arrival.Only one minor complaint: even with many fans and a window AC near the lanai, the bedroom near the front door was always hot and humid.

This unit is offered at an exceptional price and is reflected in the wear in the unit. The view on the Lanie is amaxing, great furnishings, comfy bed, ceiling and floor fans a plus, comfy chairs on the lanai, good sized tv, well stocked kitchen. We had a wonferful 2 weeks here!

Great view! Host was easy to communicate with! Clean!

Didn't spend much time in the Cando but it was clean and had mostly everything we needed just needed more beach stuff. Close to everything and shops near by so could walk everywhere and pool area was nice.
