We enjoyed our week at Pelican Pointe in Orange Beach! The location is perfect—directly on the beach and close to restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and all activities. The condo was clean and well furnished and we had plenty of space for the 5 of us to hang out when we weren’t out and about. The pics available on VRBO are accurate. The balcony was much larger than expected and was a nice surprise! The outdoor pool, indoor pool/hot tub, and tennis/basketball court kept the kids busy when they wanted a break from the beach. We visit the area a lot and will def keep Pelican Pointe on our list of places to return to.

The communication was great! The condo was very clean, and the location is perfect. Myself, my son, and my grandson stayed here for 6 days. We loved it so much that we decided we will come back to the same condo next year.

We stayed in this condo for 13 days and had a tough first week before things slowly got better. The first day we arrived the cable was out, the outside light was hanging by wires, the beverage fridge wasn't working, there was no Keurig as advertised, there was drywall debris in the shower, and it generally was not cleaned satisfactorily.After significant time cleaning, calls to the rental company and a couple hours with the cable company, we felt we were on the right track. Then the full refrigerator completely went out. After another repair call, a new fridge was ordered and installed the same day. That was three hours of vacation wasted with repair people. The beverage fridge was never operational during the stay.Then the outside light fully fell off the wall exposing live wires. And after the first load of laundry washed, the dryer didn't work. Apparently the belt was bad and hadn't worked for a week but we were not informed. Repair people came again the next day and fixed the dryer.We were refunded a small portion of the rent for our trouble and the rental company did their best to be responsive. But, it was a lot to deal with when trying to relax on vacation.Proximity to the beach is great. View was lovely. Overall complex in need of maintenance (door looks like it was in a hail storm, elevator broke, internet outages, etc.).Maybe we just happen to have all the bad luck and others won't have issues, but felt that we could not leave a review without being honest.
