The building was constructed in the 11th century as a farmstead (farm building) for Babenberg Castle. It was later converted and expanded into a convent for the Redemptorist Order. The convent consists of 20 residential units, some with private gardens. In 2022, it was decided to make some of the historically significant rooms accessible to a wider audience and to offer them for short-term rental. As a result, the building now features a mix of previously rented apartments and short-term rental units. A communal garden is available for you to relax in. We hope you’ll feel at home in this historic setting. Ample free parking is available; bike parking is provided; and an electric vehicle charging station is located nearby. Apartments include bed linens, towels, and basic kitchen amenities. Access to the apartments is electronic and unstaffed; you will receive the relevant information before your arrival. The “Riesling Top R” apartment is located on the 1st floor and can be accessed via the main entrance through the communal garden. The apartment is approximately 53 m², with an entryway, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, a kitchen with a dining area, and two bedrooms. The first bedroom features a box-spring bed (200×180) and a TV with Wi-Fi. The second bedroom also features a box-spring bed (200×180). The kitchen is equipped with the basic amenities needed to prepare simple meals. Pets are not allowed in the apartment. A prepayment equal to the total price must be made at least 2 weeks before arrival. After payment is received (no later than the day of arrival), you will receive the access code (via WhatsApp, text message, or email) for your booked apartment. The code is valid from 2:00 PM on the day of arrival until 10:00 AM on the day of departure. No pets allowed. A travel crib can be provided for a fee of EUR 10. Prices include VAT. Check-in: Access to your apartment is available starting at 2:00 PM. Departure: Please check out by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure at the latest. Contactless check-in and check-out via access code. As of 01.01.2026, the overnight tax is 2.60 EUR per person per night.
