Welcome to Xochitlan (Pronounced Show-Chit-Lan) is one of the FOUR apartments in traditional Spanish style Casa Xocotla (pronounced Show-Coat-La), a traditional Spanish-style house featuring four captivating rental apartments. Nestled midway up the Gringo Hill. This prime location offers a harmonious blend of sea breezes, ocean views. Additionally, its convenient walkability provides easy access to both the vibrant town and the stunning beaches.
The space
Xochitlan (Show-Chit-Lan) is a lovely, intimate studio apartment and is perfect for either a couple or a single traveler. Two private, covered terraces overlook the garden.
The front door opens directly to the main room from the path beside the peaceful pool terrace. As well as the sleeping area, there is a small sitting area for cooler evenings. Glass double doors lead from the bedroom to the upper terrace.
There, a fully-stocked kitchenette has a two-burner gas stove and oven, refrigerator, blender, toaster and coffee maker. All necessary utensils and pots and pans, as well as dishes and glassware, allow you to prepare and enjoy breakfasts, lunches and light dinners. The 3-piece bathroom is simply decorated in Mexican style with a charming hand-painted sink.
The lower terrace is ideal for relaxing with a book or simply enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. An attractive indoor sitting area is perfect for cooler evenings, while still affording the same views.

During your stay at our retreat, the waterfall heated pool and oasis jungle are yours to explore and embrace. Embrace the opportunity to connect with nature, finding solace and tranquility in this hidden sanctuary.
For your convenience, we offer two designated parking spots that can accommodate either two small cars or two golf carts.

When searching for a place to stay in Sayulita for 3 weeks, we were looking for a pool, ac, a location that allowed us to easily walk into town but was separate from the chaos, in an authentically Mexican styled building. We got all that and more. Xochitlan does a great job of combining modern amenities with Mexican charm. The place was very clean, the host Coco was available and helpful, the property manager Miguel fixed minor issues quickly, a cleaner came by every couple of days. The pool was amazing. The jungle themed landscaping presented us with an assortment of wildlife to keep us entertained (mostly birds and iguanas). The kitchen was adequate to prepare many of our meals. The shower was hot and great pressure. The bed was comfy. We walked down to Sayulita centre a couple of times each day. There is a bit of a hill, but totally manageable as you are near the bottom of the hill. We loved our stay here and hope to come back in the future.

Great place to stay central location close to beach. This is an amazing traditional place with Mexican charm. We loved our time here.
